Graduate Students
PhD students interested in joining the lab must be accepted by the IGG or BMCDB Graduate Programs and carry out a laboratory rotation.
Undergraduate Students
Undergraduates typically start out in the lab carrying out lab maintenance duties such as dish washing, media preparation and strain maintenance, and then progress to helping a current member with a research project. Students can participate via work study or for class credit. Availability varies – we are currently full (Fall 2025 through Winter 2026) but may have positions in Spring or Summer 2026.
Postdoctoral Researchers:
Those interested in the lab can send a pre-inquiry to Lesilee Rose at lsrose@ucdavis.edu. We are especially interested in recruiting people with prior C. elegans experience or biochemical experience.
